Phillip W. Looney

Minister of Senior Adults and Active Adults (55+)

Phillip presently serves as the Minister of Visitation and Inter-Generations at Westmore Church of God beginning in August, 2015. His area of ministry spans across a variety of ages. Pastor Phillip ministers through visitations, pastoral care, and prayer to the Westmore Family and oversees the ministries and activities for groups ages 55 and up.

A graduate of Lee University, Phillip met his wife Tammy and they together have served in thriving churches in Michigan, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.

Phillip has a Bachelor’s degree in business with minors in Music and Religion. Tammy, also a graduate of Lee University, presently teaches at Black Fox Elementary School.

For the past thirty years Phillip and Tammy have served together in music ministry.  Phillip has served on Church State Music Boards, a State and National Teen Talent adjudicator, Junior, Teen and Senior Adult Emcee for the National Church of God, and has been a worship leader and served as a guest clinician at various churches, meetings, etc. He continues to minister with his three siblings, The Looney Brothers, at various times during the year.

Phillip and Tammy are the proud parents of three children.  Oldest daughter Kristen lives in Ooltewah, TN; she and her husband, Justin Phillips, and their grandsons, Mason and Brody. Their second daughter  Jessica,  lives in Cleveland as does their youngest, Phillip Matthew a recent graduate of Lee University.

Phillip enjoys all sports and cherishes times with family.
