Women’s Bible Study: Job – A Story of Unlikely Joy
Discover the Redemptive Side to Job’s Story of Suffering
Joy is the constant companion of the woman who trusts in the Lord. And while you can find it in friends, family, and circumstances, unfailing, persistent joy will only ever overflow from your relationship with Jesus. Just ask Job, the man from Uz who clung to God’s goodness while all his worldly joys were stripped away. But how is it possible to hold onto such joy in times of sorrow? In this 7-session study by Lisa Harper, discover the redemptive side to Job’s story of suffering. Learn to use pain to strengthen your faith, point others to the gospel, and remember God’s providence will never take you to a place where His grace will not sustain you.
BEGINS on SEPTEMBER 11th with a women’s social gathering (potluck style) to get to know each other and invite other friends.

Living Proverbs 31
As women, we have a lot of responsibilities both in the family and in the marketplace. We try to be great at everything that’s on our plate – being outstanding mothers and wives, while pursuing careers and navigate through all the demands that come with that. Whether you are a married or a single woman, join us for a monthly fellowship, led by Richelle Shelton, where you will be encouraged and empowered to be the woman God created you to be. In the near future, we will explore several important subjects: self-care, work-life balance, working in a man’s world, etc. Our next meeting will take place on September 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Westmore Fellowship Hall (children’s area). The group does not meet in the summer.
Westmore Moms is a diverse group of Christ-following women within the Westmore Church of God Women’s Ministry. Every mother needs time dedicated to herself in order to recharge and connect with other women on a similar journey. This new group focuses on meeting the relational and spiritual needs of mothers, regardless of their marital status or whether their children are little or high school age. We invite you to join this sisterhood of women for monthly fun times of refreshing fellowship on the fourth Thursday of each month. This event will be fellowship and an activity of making scripture blocks and will take place at Westmore children’s area. Childcare is usually available per RSVP.
Named after one of the previous Pastor’s wife, Enetha McClung, the Circle is made up of women of all ages. The Enetha Circle meets on the first Thursday of every month.
