Westmore Women

God has a great purpose for the women in His Kingdom!
God has a great purpose for women at Westmore. Throughout His ministry on Earth, Jesus encouraged women to fulfill their “holy assignments” and to be equal partners and partakers of His glory. Westmore is focused on encouraging women in their passion for God and to live out His divine plan for each of them. We seek to meet the spiritual and social needs of ladies of all ages, married and single, mothers, sisters and daughters, marketplace professionals and homemakers.
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
– Proverbs 31:25, ESV

“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”
– Psalm 46:5, NIV

Bible Studies:

Women’s Bible Study

Raised Together (the Book of Colossians)

Facilitatedby Sonia Griffey
Overview Room
Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae encourages believers to live out the reality of the doctrine of Christ – He is God, He is supreme, and He is sufficient. We have been buried with Him and raised to life with Him as new creations, knit together in love. In eight sessions, explore themes of fundamental Christian doctrine through verse-by-verse study of Colossians. Learn who Christ is, who you are in Him, and how to grow and mature in your faith.

New Women’s Bible Study: Philippians  – begins on June 15th, 6:30 PM (various facilitators).  All you need is a Bible. Ladies, don’t miss this expository Bible study of the Book of Philippians in a community of other women who seek to grow in the Lord in a faith filled community of women.

Rooted Moms

Developing our faith isn’t a priority; it’s a necessity! Rooted Moms is doing a study on the spiritual disciplines to help us grow in our faith. Every week we will invite an experienced mother from Westmore to share their discipleship journey and a related spiritual practice to encourage our faith.  Join us on Wednesday nights in Room 218 at 6:30 p.m. as we grow our roots deeper as sisters in Christ and dedicated mothers to our children.
