Westmore Women

God has a great purpose for the women in His Kingdom!
God has a great purpose for women at Westmore. Throughout His ministry on Earth, Jesus encouraged women to fulfill their “holy assignments” and to be equal partners and partakers of His glory. Westmore is focused on encouraging women in their passion for God and to live out His divine plan for each of them. We seek to meet the spiritual and social needs of ladies of all ages, married and single, mothers, sisters and daughters, marketplace professionals and homemakers.
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
– Proverbs 31:25, ESV

“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”
– Psalm 46:5, NIV

Bible Studies:

Women’s Bible Study: Trustworthy

This study begins March 4th, 6:30 pm, in Room 005 and will be lead by Vanessa Hammond. When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re much more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try. In this 6-session study of 1 & 2 Kings, you can join Lysa TerKeurst in Israel as she honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring the deeply personal applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God. We look forward to seeing you in this class, ladies. Bring a friend!

Children of the Day

This brand-new group is led by Ashley Waldrop on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., beginning on February 12. Join author Beth Moore on the Thessalonian shores as you face real crises, real medical diagnoses, real afflictions, real relationships, real doubts, real concerns, and real fears. Let the tide wash your eyes with fresh vision. Don’t let pride or timidity come between you and the presence of God. Press in tightly. This is your journey to the shores of Thessalonica where you’ll write your name in the sand. Ashley Waldrop/Room 120 (U-Turn Suite)

Living Proverbs 31

As women, we have a lot of responsibilities both in the family and in the marketplace. We try to be great at everything that’s on our plate – being outstanding mothers and wives while pursuing careers and navigate through all the demands that come with that. Whether you are a married or a single woman, join us for a monthly fellowship, led by Richelle Shelton, where you will be encouraged and empowered to be the woman God created you to be. In the near future, we will explore several important subjects: self-care, work-life balance, working in a man’s world, etc. More events for this group will be announced soon.
