Westmore WomenGod has a great purpose for the women in His Kingdom!
God has a great purpose for the women in His Kingdom. Jesus elevated women through His ministry on earth to be equal partners and partakers of His glory. Westmore Women are focused on encouraging ladies in the passion for God and their callings to do what He has called them to do and become what He has anointed them to become. We seek to meet the spiritual and social needs of ladies of all ages, married or single, mothers, sisters and daughters.
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
– Proverbs 31:25, ESV
“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”
– Psalm 46:5, NIV
Ladies Testimonies Nights
We seek to build up women through the Word of God and fellowship. Join Westmore ladies on Wednesday nights August 15-29 for three nights of testimonies and discussion about what God has done in our lives. The class will meet at 6:30 p.m. in Room 005 at the Wolfe Drive location.
“Raised Together” Bible Study
“Raised Together” Bible study by Gloria Furman on the book of Colossians will be our next study for the September-October session. Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae encourages believers to live out the reality of the doctrine of Christ—He is God, He is supreme, and He is sufficient. We have been buried with Him and raised to life with Him as new creations, knit together in love. In 8 sessions, explore themes of fundamental Christian doctrine through verse-by-verse study of Colossians. Learn who Christ is, who you are in Him, and how to grow and mature in your faith. Join us on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Room 005, Wolfe Drive location, facilitated by Sonia Griffey, beginning on September 5.
“Uninvited” Book Study
In this six-session video Bible study we will dig deep into God’s Word to explore the roots of rejection, the way other relationships get tainted because of a past rejection, and the truth about what it looks like to live loved. With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, the author will take you on a visual journey in the Holy Land to some of the places where people of the Bible such as Hannah, David, and even Jesus lived and walked. We hope this study will help you to enter a place of healing and new perspective. Uninvited reminds us we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken, or taken—a love that does not reject or uninvite. Join our ladies for this study, facilitated by Megen Saez on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in Room 005, Wolfe Drive Location. Coming up on November7th!

Professional Women’s Group
As women, we have a lot of responsibilities both in the family and in the marketplace. We try to be great at everything that’s on our plate – being outstanding mothers and wives, while pursuing careers and navigate through all the demands that come with that. Whether you are a married or a single woman, join us for a monthly fellowship, led by Richelle Shelton, where you will be encouraged and empowered to be the woman God created you to be. In the near future, we will explore several important subjects: self-care, work-life balance, working in a man’s world, etc.
