About Westmore Outreach
Westmore’s outreach strategy is based on the Acts 1:8 Model, which compels us to be witnesses in “Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth.” Put another way, this means we should extol the good news of Christ in our community, region and nation, and world. Westmore’s outreach strategy is developed and overseen by the Global Evangelism Team (GET), which ensures that all funds are spent with prayerful consideration, as the needs around the block and around the world are many. The GET’s focus is to build long-term, sustainable partnerships that provide the best opportunity for impact. The GET members are:
- Kelvin Page
- Greg Johnson
- Kyle Page
- Barry Ray
- Mark McCord
- Vera Voznyuk
- Zach Clevenger
Westmore Outreach is funded through the generosity and passion of our members to reach their community, nation and world for Christ. Click here to see how Westmore spends its outreach dollars.
Westmore reaches out to the community, nation, and world by supporting specific initiatives that highlight God’s love and compassion. These initiatives are as follows (for more information about any of them, please contact Mark McCord at email@example.com unless otherwise noted):
Community Projects (our “Jerusalem”)
In partnership with Quizno’s and the Bradley County Juvenile Justice Department, Westmore sponsors boxed lunches for children whose parents are involved in court actions. It is a heart-breaking time for the children who are often victims of broken homes and challenging situation, which often includes drugs and other issues. These boxed lunches ensure that children are well fed while waiting for the outcome of their parents’ legal action. Our support is an opportunity to share Christ’s love with the children and introduce them to the EDGE mentorship program, which was begun by Westmore and is now transitioning to the U-Turn Institute.
Regional/National Projects (our “Judea and Samaria”)
Lead Pastor Kelvin Page and Executive Pastor Mark McCord regularly train pastors throughout the United States and abroad through an intensive program that consists of mentorship, shadowing, and content. For more information contact Mark McCord at firstname.lastname@example.org.
International Projects (“Ends of the Earth”)
Westmore is partnering with missionaries in the region to spread the gospel in one of the most challenging areas of the world. Mongolia and surrounding Asian countries are the home to billions of people who are searching for the hope that only Christ can bring. Westmore provides funding for materials, outreach, and infrastructure to take the gospel to this under-reached people group.
