Our purpose is to help teenagers make the connection between real life and real faith.
We are fully committed to making disciples through the vision of Westmore: Reaching with Care, Nurturing with the Word, and Worshiping with Passion. We do this through the avenues of gathering, growing, giving and going. It’s our desire to see a strong foundation laid in the lives of teens that will help them become integrated in to the life of the church and stay firm in their faith through their transition into adulthood. One of our core values is intergenerational ministry. Element High School intentionally seeks opportunities for the older generation to pour their Godly wisdom and experience into the younger generation. We believe in the power of Godly mentorship in the lives of our students.
The Element is
We want students to encounter the life changing presence of God, and begin a life of passionate devotion to Him. We also want them to encounter a community of believers that are committed to Him and each other.
The Element is
We want students to engage in passionate worship, challenging messages, small groups, events, mission trips, serving the community… and more!
The Element is
Equipping & Exploring
When it’s all said and done, we want every student to be a disciple of Christ. Knowing Him and making Him known. We want each student to explore their gifting and calling, and equip them for their next steps in life.
The Element is
It’s about change and growth. We want students to continually evolve into someone that looks more and more like Jesus. That evolution takes place through the encounters, the engaging, exploring, and the equipping.
Join us weekly on Wednesday nights for a high-energy worship experience for high schoolers. E Groups, passionate worship, relevant preaching, and lots of hang time with friends! Wednesday night will be the best part of your week!
One of the most important parts of The Element are our E Groups. Every grade, 9-12, has an E Group leader for guys and girls. E Groups meet weekly on Wednesday nights, but the relationships formed go far beyond Wednesday – we do life together!
Our main discipleship times are Sunday mornings at 9am, and Sunday nights at 6pm. Join Pastor Jared on Sunday mornings for the Element Mentorship Program (EMP), for leadership and ministry training. Sunday nights at 6pm are geared for small group Bible study – come grow in the Word with us!
There are many ways to get involved at The Element. Two of our main ways to plug in to ministry are to join our choir or our drama ministry. Both ministries meet weekly on Sunday afternoons. In addition, there are many ways to plug in to ministries like Element worship, media and production, cafe, greeting, and helping plan and implement community service projects. We also take summer mission and ministry trips. Wether serving on a weekly basis at The Element, ministering with our drama team at a regional youth camp, serving in a soup kitchen in New York City, or serving at an orphanage on foreign soil, there is a place for you to use your talents and abilities in ministry at The Element.
The Element has an array of small groups, ministry opportunities, social events, retreats, and more throughout the school year and summer. We want YOU to plug in to everything going on at The Element!
Ways To Get Involved!
Element High School has a heart for our community and beyond. Modeled after Westmore’s Acts 1:8 model, we strive to be on mission locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Wether we are coordinating a food distribution in a local neighborhood, serving in a soup kitchen in New York City, or loving children in an orphanage in Haiti, you can expect missions to be part of your Element experience!
